Skimpy String Bikini
The skimpy string bikini is one of the scantiest outfits for the beach that one will ever get to use. This little piece of swimwear traces its origins back to the Roman Empire, but the more modern version did not appear until the 1940s in Paris. It is believed that the precursor of this beachwear variation was the first form of human body covering invented, and that it was used by members of primitive tribes before its purpose as a great outfit for sun tanning and romping at the beach was discovered.
Back then, using cords to tie and support the bikini was not as popular, and the bikini offered more coverage than it does today. In the earlier decades, however, many models still refused to wear the daring new beachwear, perhaps because it was still a very revealing piece of swimwear at that time. That is, until Micheline Bernardini. She was the only one who agreed to wear the piece for the runway show, and the rest, as they say, is history.
The string bikini vs the thong
This type of two-piece is often commonly mistaken for a thong, although both are different. The thong usually uses a strip of cloth for coverage, forming a thick Y-shape on the butt. The stringy two-piece, on the other hand, uses thin cords for support, giving the appearance of a thin Y-shape on the butt. An equal number of beachgoers prefer the stringy type over the thong. While the latter offers relatively more coverage, some may prefer the sexy and ultra-revealing string bathing suit for its risque appeal.
Waxing tips
Women who want to wear a scanty piece of beachwear need to get rid of unsightly hair. Trimming may be of no use when one wants to wear a barely-there bottom. This type of beachwear offers very little coverage so that there is no other option but to remove all hair down there for a clean look.
Waxing is the best way to remove hair down there. Shaving can give the skin unsightly shaving bumps, while the use of depilatory creams can give the skin a raw, red appearance, something that will definitely take away any remnant of sex appeal that you happen to have. Waxing should be done by a salon professional, and should be as safe as possible. Because waxing entails removal of hair, the procedure should be done in a hygienic manner.
